Our Safety Program

Health and Safety: Our First Priority

    We place a strong emphasis on safety to protect our clients and our employees. A formal safety program which meets OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements is an integral part of every Americorp contract services program. In addition, Americorp's management maintains an incident tracking system to manage our employees at over 60 work sites.

    The principal objective of the Accident Prevention/Safety Plan is to reduce the cost of losses due to accidents and, thus, reduce the cost of providing services needed by our clients. The specific objectives of the program are as follows:

  1. Insure a safe and accident free working environment for your employees and ours.

  2. Raise the safety consciousness level of employees.

  3. Safeguard customer property.

  4. Create a personal sense of accountability in order to improve loss control and instill program acceptance and ownership.

  5. Set up a comprehensive investigation effort to effectively control claims.

  6. Reduce the amount and frequency of casualty claims through a comprehensive loss prevention and claims control program.
